Welcoming Dioxus to Cognition

We’re thrilled to welcome Jonathan Kelley and the entire Dioxus team to Cognition.

Dioxus was founded to simplify app development and make it easier for small teams to ship ambitious apps across platforms. At Cognition, we used Dioxus extensively to build and improve the performance of Devin. When the two teams met, we knew there was a natural fit.

Cognition is proud to continue to support Dioxus’ open source work. As one team, we plan on continuing support for Dioxus, Blitz, Taffy, and Subsecond, while increasing investments in Dioxus-Native and Blitz. Powered by Devin, we expect even more improvements in the Dioxus platform in the months to come.

The Dioxus team will also bring their expertise in app development and systems engineering to Devin: improving Devin’s virtual machine, computer use skills, and testing capabilities.

Together, we’re excited to continue developing performant, cross-platform applications – and supporting the open source ecosystem – as one team.
